THE STORY OF AFFAIRS OF THE HEART

After years of loving interior design and magazines like Romantic Home and Pottery Barn I finally decided to do something about it. I woke up one morning with the big dream of opening my own store. With the support and love of my wonderful husband and family, my dream came true. In 2001 Affairs of the Heart opened it's doors on 146 Traffic Way. I wanted to create a shop with products that I was excited about as well as what my customers woud be excited about. My goal is to always have that perfect accent for your home or help you find the perfect gift for your loved one. I had no idea going into this business fourteen years ago how this business woud positively benefit my life. Don't get me wrong, it's a lot of work, but the personal relationships that I have developed with my customers and the satisfaction I receive when I can help someone find the perfect item makes it completely worth it. 

 

This business is constantly changing. Flash forward fourteen years - I am now located inside of Posies in the heart of the Village of Arroyo Grande. We have combined three unique stores Affairs of the Heart, Chrisy's Cottage, and Posies all under one roof. We strive to be a one stop destination whether you are searching for a perfect home accent, a gift, clothing for yourself or your baby, or even just to go out and have fun!
